Contenta Converter BASIC 5.8

There are several things you can do with the Contenta Software-developed application, the aptly named Contenta Converter. The first ting you can do with it is convert your photos from one format to another. The application provides support for JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, WBMP, TARGA (TGA), PPM, PGM, PBM, XPM, ICO, CUT, G3, DDS, IFF, JNG, KOA, MNG, PCD, PCX, RAS, and SGI - just to put things in perspective.

The second thing you can do with Contenta Converter is resize your digital photos. Something that is quite handy when a photo is too large for example. The third (but not final thing) you can do with Contenta Converter is rename your images. Here’s comes the best part – you can do all these things in batch. You can batch convert, resize and rename your photo collection.

But that’s not all you can do with Contenta Converter. You can also share your photos online very easily – it takes one click to do so, and you don’t have to register or something like that. And you can automatically organize your images in subfolders. That’s where the functionality of Contenta Converter BASIC comes to an end.

There is anther Contenta Converter version out there though - Contenta Converter PREMIUM. This application provides support for even more formats, can apply effects to you images (like boost colors, blur, sharpen, denoising and so on), can batch crop, flip and rotate your images, can add a watermark to your images, can converts images to PDF photo albums, and can convert multipage PDF to images.

Switching focus back to Contenta Converter BASIC, it must be said that the application works with any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. This includes Windows XP, Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit flavors) and the latest iteration, Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit versions).

It must also be said that Contenta Converter BASIC is freeware. It doesn’t come with as many features as Contenta Converter PREMIUM, but at least you don’t have to pay for using the application. As far as batch conversion, resizing and renaming goes, the BASIC version is just as good as the PREMIUM one.

The bottom line is that Contenta Converter is free, easy to use, and can batch convert images, batch rename images and batch resize images swiftly and rapidly.
